Our country was founded by the need to have God involved to be a better place in this world. America is following the same path as Israel. The people of Israel went to Samuel and asked for a king because they wanted to be like the nations around them (1Sam 8:5). Once Israel rejected they began a slide downward that would eventually lead to their destruction. America is following the road by wanting to be like all the other nations of the world. This world is enmity with God. The more a nation follows the precepts of men the further that nation will be at odds with God.
