Mark is the founder, director and host of Solomon’s Porch Radio. Mark was raised in a religious home where he knew more about the traditions of the church more than the person of Jesus Christ. He began his journey with the Lord on Easter of 1993 while serving in the Air Force. His walk with God has led him to serve in South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia and most recently Haiti. Mark’s passion for men was born out of personal struggles and failures which almost resulted in his turning away from his faith, marriage and family. His life began to turn around when he surrendered himself again to the Lord and sought Godly counsel from other men. Mark and his wife, Barbara, have been married nearly 20 years and have one daughter. They reside in Central Florida where Mark is active in his local church serving as a men’s group leader, elderly outreach ministry coordinator and prayer partner.
Mike is the co-host of Solomon’s Porch Radio. Mike made the decision to follow Christ in April 2001 and his life was radically changed. Even though he doesn’t always get it right, Mike knows that nothing can separate him from the love of Christ. He has a desire to live the great commission, Matthew 28:18-20. Mike’s relationships with other Godly men are helping him to become bolder in living and sharing his faith. He and his wife, Janet will have been married 20 years in August 2012 and live in Central Florida. Together they have a blended family of 7 children and 3 grandchildren. Mike is active in his local church where he co-leads men’s divorce care groups.
